The Virginia Brown Community Orthodontic Partnership was established in 1997 as a community-based orthodontic program to help children from families who could not afford the full cost of braces, whose self-esteem was impacted by having crooked teeth, receive orthodontic treatment. Now known as Smiles Change Lives (SCL), it has grown into a national organization with close to 750 orthodontists participating in the program. To date, nearly 10,000 children nationwide have received life-changing orthodontic treatment through SCL.

From NewsNet5.comYou pull up to the pump at GetGo, someone nearby asks to use your Giant Eagle rewards card- to get the few cents off. You probably wouldn’t think twice, right? Canton Police say you should.
“He’ll ask the person next to him if they’ll swipe their advantage card so he can save the 3 cents a gallon. Then he’ll put pay inside on the pump, get his gas, and drive off. The person who allowed him to use their card gets hit with a drive-off from GetGo,” Captain Kurzinsky said.

The funeral will be Thursday, January 19, at 2:00 pm at Berkowitz Kumin. Burial will be in Zion Memorial Park. Shiva information to follow.
