Personal Message from Laura Ellis

I have been at a complete loss of words this week, at the outpouring of the generosity of each and every one of you. From those who spent countless hours organizing the fundraising campaign, to the people who led teams, and worked so hard to collect the money, and to each and every person, young and old, who so generously donated the precious funds. Now, I have been blessed with the ability to stay home with the proper care that I need. I am filled with an indescribable gratitude for the outpouring of love and caring that you have shown me.

I don’t know why HaShem has given me ALS, but I know, with emunah shaleima, that His plan for me, is far better for me, than any plan that I could ever imagine. In so many ways, my life today, is better than before I was diagnosed. My connection with HaShem is so much closer now, my faith is immeasurable, even on the days that are more physically challenging. I am able to use my inability to speak, and go into my head and just be with HaShem. It’s such a blessing.

With my koach habracha I am bentching each of you with all the brachos in the Torah; with good health and happiness,  shalom bayis, menuchas hanefesh and menuchas haguf, and with hatzlacha and bracha always!

Please Pick Up Your HaRav Blum Shlita / Pupa Tzeilem Shemurah (Chaburah) Matzah Order On April 6, 7 & 8

WHERE & HOW TO PICK UP:

At Khal Yereim 1771 S. Taylor Rd. In Cleveland Hts. At the corner of Shannon Rd.

{Please drive on Bendemeer Rd (westbound) turn right onto S. Taylor Rd and when you get to Khal Yereim (one short block) turn right onto Shannon Rd. Drive up past the side door of the Shul until (but not into) the parking lot.}

Please stay in your car at the side of the shul and a bachur will take your payment and pull your order.

PICK UP TIMES:

The line is longest at opening.

  • For Families A – J: Wednesday April 6th 6:00 – 10:00 pm.
  • For Families K – R: Thursday April 7th 6:00 – 10:00 pm.
  • For Families S – Z: Friday April 8th 1:30 – 3:30 pm.

(As long as you pick up on one of the above listed days, there is no need to contact us about switching your day. We understand things come up. Your specific pick up day is only a strong preference.)

In order to help prevent unnecessary delays we kindly request that before arriving:

  • Please make sure there is cleared space in your car for your order to be quickly and easily placed inside.
  • If you will need to cover the seats in your car to protect the Matzah from chametz please do so before arriving.

If rain is in the forecast and you need extra protection for your Matzos, please bring that along from home.

PAYMENT:

Payment in full is required at pick up. Cash or checks are accepted. Please bring along an envelope for your cash payment with your name and cell # written clearly on it. (Those paying with cash are advised to bring along a check in addition, as we may not always have exact change.)

Please write checks to: Congregation Khal Yereim (or “CKY” for short). If paying for someone else or with a company check, please write the name(s) of the people you’re paying for in the memo. No third party checks please.
