Unfortunately, there is no longer a source of water at the shul and the community is advised to find an alternative location for Tashlich. Rabbi Chaikin shared this information and will miss having this dear custom performed at the Chabad House. (Ed: Maybe readers could post to comments some other alternate locations for this year?)

PRUZBUL! We thank the Business Halacha Institute for providing the following straightforward instructions and Pruzbul forms:

The creditor stands before a three-member Bais Din and declares ““מוסרני לכם הדיינים שכל חוב שיש לי בין בשטר ובין בעל פה שאגבנו כל זמן שארצה”

“I hereby convey to you the Bais Din all of my debts, both oral or that have promissory notes, so that I may collect them whenever I desire.”

The Bais Din completes and signs the Pruzbul form.

A community book burial for Jewish books and religious items will take place through Sept. 18 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Solon. Place them in cardboard boxes or paper bags.

They will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the cemetery office, 27855 Aurora Road. Items can be dropped off by the side of the office building after hours. For large drop-offs, first call 440-248-5100.
