Young Israel Mishna Brura Class Begins Hilchos Shabbos

Young Israel of Greater Cleveland Mishna Brura Shiur, taught by Rabbi Naphtali Burnstein, will be starting the 3rd volume of Mishna Brura, Hilchos Shabbos, on Sunday evening, June 23 (evening class) and on Tuesday morning, July 25 (morning class).

The Mishna Brura Shiur meets as follows:

  • Sunday-Friday 7:30 am
  • Sunday –Thursday 9 pm at Young Israel.

The Cleveland Chesed Center, established in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, is a resource for members of the Cleveland Jewish community who are struggling against the financial burden of household expenses.  We provide generous quantities of food, household products and personal care items on a monthly basis ($400-$500 retail value) to qualified families to help ease that burden.

This meeting is for anyone who personally knows a single and would like to present his/her profile to those in attendance.  Everyone’s efforts can make a difference.

Time to REGISTER TO VOTE

All politics are local is as true now as ever. Important elections coming up this November and you must be registered to vote.  Remember if you don’t vote, you can’t be counted, and if you don’t count, we all count for less. Stand up for your community and do your civic duty also considered a Mitzva to do so. To vote in the next election, you must be registered 30 days before.  There are local and state issues that effect us coming up on this November’s ballot.

Do You Need to Register?

Have you recently moved?

Has someone in your home recently turned 18 or will be 18 by November?

If you’ve never registered at your new address or will  be newly eligible to vote or have never voted before, it’s easy to register by filling out the form at Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website (or Lake County’s) or at any DMV or Library. Please do so today because if you don’t vote, you don’t count.
