My name is Gavriel (Rick) Heller and I am in urgent need of a double lung and liver transplant. The quality of my life has decreased rapidly over the past 2-3 years. My ability to work has been reduced from full time, to part time and recently I’ve been forced to stop working completely. Needless to say, this has put a tremendous strain on my home and financial life.

It has gotten to the point where many days I become breathless just walking to the restroom and long periods of gut-wrenching coughing have become frequent. Sometimes it feels like my ribs are going to break from the violent coughing spells.

Anyone who has ever had difficulty breathing even for short periods of time (i.e. bronchitis, pneumonia, etc.) knows how frightening it can be. In my case it is chronic and my doctors have told me that I have no chance of survival without these transplants.

The donations that you give will be used for:

1) Everyday living expenses (I no longer can work)

2) Travel, food & lodging expenses as the surgery will most likely be performed out of state.

3) In-home care for 3-6 months.

4) Very expensive anti-rejection medications taken for the remainder of my life.

I have not even mentioned the tremendous toll this is taking on my wife and family as they watch me deteriorating almost daily.

This is a life threatening situation! PLEASE HELP!!
