We have an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who shares a love of Judaism and spirituality. The Judaic Program Coordinator will develop, plan, organize, teach, and implement Judaic and Spiritual Living programming on our Menorah Park Campus in Beachwood, Ohio. The diversity of programming, which includes intergenerational programming and community outreach, will meet the broad spiritual and emotional needs of our seniors who reside in our long-term care, assisted living, and our independent living facilities. A most rewarding position that allows for connecting with a senior population and sharing your enthusiasm for our Jewish heritage. Work in conjunction with Menorah Park’s Spiritual Living and Activities Departments. Seeking candidates with a strong background and degree in Jewish studies. Part time position. Salary commensurate with experience.

The Challah bake will be October 26, 7:30pm at Landerhaven. Open to 2000 women & girls. General seating starts September 10. Adults $18, Students 8-12 $12.

Magazine Gemach Updates and Hashovas Aveida

As yom tov approaches, there may be many people who have magazines they would like to give away.  Please be advised of the following.
  1. We are currently taking publications dated 2017.  Please try to avoid dropping off any prior to that date.
  2. The gemach takes magazines only, no newspapers please.
  3. We collect Mishapacha, Family First, Binah, Ami, Inyan, Zman, Juniors, Bina bunch and AIMs.  Please try to sort out any other mailings.
  4. Please make sure the magazines are in good condition.
  5. Drop off is any time on the porch of 2424 Beachwood Blvd

Hashovas aveida: recently someone dropped off magazines and accidentally dropped off some new notebooks they purchased from target. If this belongs to you, please call 216-233-1296.

Shabbos Parshas Haazinu September 23, 3rd Tishrei, 5778

Rabbi Yehuda Cahan will be giving:

  • Shabbos Shuva/ Teshuva Drasha for the Women of the community at 4:45pm at Rav and Rebbetzin Denciger’s home, 4380 University Parkway, University Hts.
  • There will be a Drasha for men, at the Aleksander Shul, at 6:10 pm, followed by Mincha at 6:51, followed by Shalosh Seudos.
