What To Do With Dead Animals
(Reader)
Each municipality has different policies about collecting dead animals. A reader wrote to share that in Cleveland Heights, the public works service dept.will pick up dead cats, racoons etc. from tree lawn if you put it in a bag and bring it there. They wont come on private property. You should call between 7 am-12pm to let them know to pick it up that day. 216-691-7300. Also policies on traps and live animal removal have changed over the years. Please pass this information along and share with us policies and procedures in other areas if it will be helpful (via comments).

Look soon for a new website from us devoted to informing the community about what is going on with this exciting new project, including ways to receive feedback from you.)
A kosher business will move into the former Chocolate Emporium space at the Cedar Green Plaza in University Heights.
A Mother’s Day grand opening is planned for the cafe and party center on Sunday, May 11, said Jim Ross, who will be the store manager.
