The JWE provide business education, professional skill building, and individual mentoring in an environment that reflects the cultural needs and Torah values of observant Jewish women.

The JWE has chapters in cities across the U.S.

This month, we are hosting  an exciting business brainstorming event here in Cleveland.  Business Brainstormer sessions combine the insight, connections, and expertise of the group to create a powerful problem-solving tool for individual challenges.  You’ll get to “give”, and you’ll get to “get.”  We look forward to collaborating together!

There is 1 opening at The Kohn Home for Special Needs via the HELP Foundation here in Cleveland Heights. The Director at The Kohn Home, Juacquis Simmons, has indicated to us that since all the aides are already familiar with Jewish Orthodox customs they would be willing to accept another Jewish Orthodox teenager with special needs (IE Autism & etc…) should they meet all regulations.

Home Repair Resource Center is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Home Repair Education Coordinator. This position is responsible for management of the Project Repair (PR), HouseMender University (HMU), and Home How-To for Women (HHT) programs. The Home Repair Education Coordinator reports to the Executive Director. Home Repair Resource Center (HRRC) is an established nonprofit organization based in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, with a strong history of over 40 years of empowering homeowners to maintain their homes in support of sustainable and diverse neighborhoods. This Sunday, February 8, 2015, Cleveland NCSY will host a Tu B’shvat Carnival at Green Road Synagogue from 3:00-6:00 pm. The carnival will include games, arts and crafts and prizes! This community event is open to all ages and rolls of 20 game tickets will be sold for five dollars with food sold separately.
