Next week between 12:00 a.m. August 3^rd and 12:00 a.m. August 7^th, The CHMA is holding a lottery for Section 8 vouchers, there will be 10,000 winners added to the waiting list.

This a unique opportunity, as they are approving an unusually high amount of applicants and  the next  lottery is predicted for 2019! The only place to register is on line, see attached flyer for more details. This may help not only very low income individuals in our community, but elderly or disabled too. There are several Section 8 homes and apartment buildings close to the Orthodox communities.

Looking for a State-of-Ohio (or ability to become) licensed female teacher with a background or certification in special education to work with a female, high school-aged student. The candidate will have experience working with students in the mid to upper grade levels. The candidate will be available during the school year for approximately 15/20 hours per week, from about 1:00-3:30/4:00 daily, to give one-on-one instruction to student during school hours. Familiarity with IEPs is desirable and our focus would be on practical math skills and life skills, and on reading comprehension. The sheloshim for Yeruchem Friedlander, z”l  will be held  Thursday, July 30th at 7:45 pm at Green Road Synagogue.
