The Cleveland Chesed Center is seeking a responsible and hard-working individual to assist with daily operations. 25 hours per week. Will consist of mostly weekend, afternoon, and evening hours.

The responsibilities will include the following:

1. Greeting clients and signing them into the registration system
2. Explaining to new clients the rules of the Center and showing them around
3. Assuring clients follow all signs and instructions
4. Interacting with clients regarding their food/clothing/furniture needs
5. Receiving material donations that come to the Center, and providing written receipts
6. Answering phone and checking voicemails and answering general inquiries
7. Responding to general emails
8. Helping run volunteer groups and supervising individual volunteers
9. Assisting with keeping Center neat and orderly
10. Ensuring shelves are always adequately stocked and clearly labeled (supervising stocking staff and/or actual stocking)
11. Recording in the computer any inventory that is shelved
12. Keeping Program Manager abreast of any stock that is running low
13. Assisting with receiving orders (making sure there is room for deliveries in our warehouse, helping unload trucks, etc)
14. When orders come in, counting what is received and updating the inventory in the computer
