The Judaic Program Coordinator will develop, plan, organize, teach, and implement Judaic and Spiritual Living programming on our Menorah Park Campus in Beachwood, Ohio. The diversity of programming, which includes intergenerational programming and community outreach, will meet the broad spiritual and emotional needs of our seniors who reside in our long-term care, assisted living, and our independent living facilities. A most rewarding position that allows for connecting with a senior population and sharing your enthusiasm for our Jewish heritage. Work in conjunction with Menorah Park’s Spiritual Living and Activities Departments. Seeking candidates with a strong background and degree in Jewish studies. Part time position. Salary commensurate with experience.

Baruch Dayan Ha’Emes – Eta Pollak, ob”m

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Eta Pollak, mother of Arthur and Shloimy Pollak. The funeral is Sunday, August 20, at 2:00 pm at Berkowitz Kumin.
Burial is at Zion Memorial Park, Young Israel Section.
Shiva will be at the Pollak home, 2566 Larchmont in Beachwood until Friday afternoon.

Minyanim at the Shiva house are as follows:
Shacharis: 7:15 am on Monday, Thursday, Friday
7:00 am on Tuesday & Wednesday (Rosh Chodesh)
Mincha/Maariv: 8:00 pm on Sunday through Thursday

These are two young girls that were in a terrible car accident and are in critical condition.  They are a local, Cleveland family. Daven for them now and include them in your Tefillos when you light candles.

Monument Dedication for Anna Beer, ob”m

In loving memory of Anna Beer, her family will be dedicating a monument at 4pm, August 24, at Mount Olive Cemetery. Rabbi Binyamin Blau will officiate.

Anna was the wife of Jack Beer (deceased), mother of Lenny (Penny), Esther Sarah (Menachem-deceased) Carroll, Phyllis “Cookie” (Howie) Maisel, and Alan Beer (deceased), grandmother of Yonah (Rivka) Roberts, Charles (Lisa) Beer, Uzi (Rachel) Beer, Elya Beer, Jacob (Stephanie) Beer and seven others, and great grandmother of 30.
