We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Leila Handelman, mother of Mrs. Malka Morris.

Mrs. Morris is sitting shiva for her mother from Thursday evening, March 7th, until Wednesday morning, March 13th in Chicago.

University Heights Household Hazardous Waste Collection and Paper Shredding This Friday

Twice a year, on the weekend when the clocks change, University Heights participates in the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District’s annual collection program. We “spring ahead in spring” this weekend, so that’s when the Service Department will be open to collect hazardous waste, as well as paper for shredding.

The Spring Household Hazardous Waste Collection and Paper Shred Event will take place on Friday, March 8 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., drop off only at the Service Department (behind City Hall at 2300 Warrensville Center Road).
