A Message From Councilmembers Michele Weiss and Mark Wiseman Regarding Purvis Park Pool
We as the frum community need to realize the opportunity we have in the City of University Heights to make a kiddush Hashem. There is no other public pool that avails itself to the sensitivities of the frum community and we need to do our utmost to ensure it stays that way. This year the pool opened its doors to nonresidents. Families need to follow the policy of not dropping their young children unattended and maintaining proper middos at the pool to the employees. The policy is that children unattended need to be 11 years old.
We as a community have a wonderful relationship with the city and it should just continue.

27th Annual Totally Kosher Rib Burn Off – Labor Day!
Tisha B’Av Program for High School and Post High School Girls
Solon Chabad is Seeking an After School Program Supervisor
Monday – Thursday, 3 pm – 5:30 pm.
Our after school program is for children grades K-4 from Solon Schools who come while parents are working. The supervisor and assistant welcome approximately 30 children, help with snack, activities and free play. As long as the weather permits, students play outdoors on a beautiful wooded campus and when it’s too cold, they enjoy a myriad of indoor play areas.
We are looking for someone that enjoys spending time with children and can tell Jewish stories and do Yom Tov activities with them. For more information contact miriam@solonchabad.com.
