This Motzei Shabbos, February 24, will be the fifth yahrtzeit of Reb Becky Fine Charlop (yud Adar). Family and friends will be joining together via teleconference l’iloy nishmasa. Divrei hisorirus will be delivered by Rabbi Efraim Eliyahu Shapiro and we will hear divrei zikaron from a dear friend.

Gesher Schedule Until Pesach

Tuesday – Friday, Feb. 20-23 closed for training. No county drop off. Please plan accordingly.

Thursday, March 1, closed for Purim. County drop off on Wednesday, February 28th.

The deadline for HEAP Winter Crisis Program applications is March 31st but please note that Gesher will be processing Winter Crisis applications only until Tuesday, March 27th.

March 30th- April 9 closed for Pesach. Last day for county drop off will be Thursday, March 29th.

The Hebrew Academy of Cleveland is currently in its 75th year of existence with an unprecedented enrollment of 1,150 students.

It was established in 1943 by survivors who escaped the ashes of the Holocaust and has educated well over 7,000 students throughout its existence.

The excellent education provided at the Academy is costly – the average cost per capita per child is $10,000 – and over 75% of their students receive some form of scholarship. However, the longstanding policy of the Hebrew Academy has been to educate all children regardless of background and financial ability.
