Unveiling for Florence (Frima) Singer on Sunday

In loving memory of Florence Singer, a monument will be dedicated at 11:30 AM on Sunday, July 2nd, at Zion Memorial Park. Florence was the wife of the late Berl Singer, mother of Carl (Miriam) Singer, grandmother of Moishe Berl (Yacha), Shlomo Yitzchak (Rita) and Chaim Yaakov (Raphaela) and great-grandmother of Kayla-Rachel, Eliahu Levi, Hava Yehudis, Rivka Neima and Temima Lea.

Long Term Nursing Beds Available at Montefiore

Montefiore Home has some beds available for long term care residents, receiving Medicaid or paying privately. It is never easy to find placement in a Jewish nursing home facility, but at this time Montefiore does have some open beds and is trying to get the word out to the greater Jewish community. Food is under Cleveland Kosher supervision and there are a number of other frum residents living in the building at this time. Despite the lack of regular Orthodox davening, there is a lot of support for Orthodox residents from the many Orthodox employees and various frum-friendly programs in place. Psychology Teacher

Yavne High School is looking for a teacher for our 12th grade psychology class for the coming school year. The class will meet from 3:00-3:50 Monday-Thursday, or from 3:00-5:00 two afternoons/week. Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  1. Either a psychology teacher licensed by the Ohio Department of Education OR a person with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology who is eligible for an Ohio Department of Education nontax certificate.
  2. Previous experience teaching is preferred.
  3. A love for teaching and working with adolescents
  4. A passion for the subject matter.

Art Teacher

Yavne High School is looking for a teacher for our art classes for the coming school year. The classes will meet from 3:00-5:00 Monday-Thursday.

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  1. Either an art teacher licensed by the Ohio Department of Education OR a person with a Bachelor’s Degree in art who is eligible for an Ohio Department of Education nontax certificate.
  2. Previous experience teaching is preferred.
  3. A love for teaching and working with adlolescents
  4. A passion for the subject matter.

English Teacher

Yavne High School is looking for a teacher for 2 English classes. The classes will meet from 12:40–2:05 Monday-Friday.

  1. Either an English teacher licensed by the Ohio Department of Education OR a person with a Bachelor’s Degree in English who is eligible for an Ohio Department of Education nontax certificate.
  2. Previous experience teaching is preferred.
  3. A love for teaching and working with adlolescents
  4. A passion for the subject matter.
