Reservations are strongly recommended. When making your reservation, please include your name, date, time, email and # of people. We seat on the 1/2 hr. from 5:30 – 7:30.

Accountant

Reporting to the Senior Accountant for Mandel Supporting Foundations and the Asst. VP of Fiscal Operations, this position is responsible for accurate and timely preparation and reporting of financial information. Learn more.

Event Planner

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland seeks an organized, punctual, and creative individual to join the Marketing and Communications team as a full time Event Planner. The Event Planner is responsible for vision planning and hands-on coordination of all Federation major to mid-size events in addition to acting as a partner to staff in planning and organizing smaller events and meetings and to ensure brand consistency and brand experience across the organization. Agudath Israel of America congratulates Betsy DeVos on her confirmation today as the next U.S. Secretary of Education. Mrs. DeVos has spent the last three decades focused on giving parents and children educational opportunities. She will now bring her passion to the more than 50 million children educated in schools across America.
Agudath Israel has been deeply engaged in the national discussion on educational reform for more than 60 years and has worked closely with elected officials on both sides of the aisle to seek ways to enhance American education – both public and nonpublic. Support for public education should include the entire public, including parents who seek for their children an educational alternative to their local public school.
Agudath Israel looks forward to continuing to work with Mrs. DeVos and with stakeholders from across the educational spectrum to create and implement policies that benefit every child in America, regardless of where they live or attend school.

 

Help Gavriel Heller with His Medical Costs

Shalom. My name is Gavriel Heller and it has come to the point where I am very ill. Apparently I am in need of a double lung, and possibly also liver transplant. We have started up a Chesed Fund account and would like to know how to, first run it as news, and then on the sidebar as advertising, and of course what the cost would be. Segulah of Parshas HaMan for Tuesday

breadsmallThe Yerushalmi teaches that one who recites Parshas Hamon every day is assured that his food will not be lacking. Reb Mendel M’Riminov said that saying Parshas Hamon (Shenayim Mikroh V’Echod Targum) on  the Tuesday of Parshas B’Shalach, is a Segulah for Parnasah, and indeed this has become a well accepted custom in many circles. Also have in mind as well all of Klal Yisroel, many of whom are suffering terribly with a lack of parnassah. Chazal teach that one who prays for someone else in need, for the same thing that they need, the one praying for their friend will be answered first!
