Megillah Readings for Cleveland – 2016 – Seeking Updates

Every year Gedaliah Yitzchak Corbett put together a list of Megillah readings throughout the community. Below appears the list from last year. If you have a new public reading tht you want to have added, email Jeffcorbett@hotmail.com. We anticipate an updated version for this year to be posted Monday evening.

Wednesday March 4

(Fast begins 5:45 am (5:30 according to others) and concludes 6:51 pm (7:02, 7:06 according to others)

Minchah

1:08 pm – Khal Yariem
5:45 pm – B’nai Torah, Khal Yariem

5:50 pm – Beachwood Kehilla, Green Road Synagogue, Heights Jewish Center, Jewish

Learning Connection (JLC)

5:55 pm – Beis Doniel, Young Israel (both branches)

6:00 pm – Chabad Waxman, Shomre Shabbos

6:10 pm – Alexander Shul, Cedar Road Synagogue (followed by Maariv)

Megillah reading typically 35-45 minutes after the start of Shacharis.

    Specifically for women? I have not heard. The earliest regular minyanim are: 6:00 am Shomre Shabbos, 6:24 am Vasikin (Khal Yariem, Alexander Shul), 6:30 am Young Israel (both branches.) Expect Megillah 35 – 45 minutes after the start of Shacharis.

    Thank you for the kudos. Alexander Shul additions: Wednesday night: Minchah 6:10, Maariv 7:15. Megillah after. Second reading for ladies 20 minutes after the first reading ends.

    Second reading Purim day: 9:30 am. Regular hourly Minchahs at 2,3,4,5.
