In response to numerous requests from listeners, would‐be listeners, and former listeners, “Phil Fink’s Shalom America” will be streamed online beginning Sunday October 13 from 7‐9 am via Olam Broadcasting’s Radio‐J (http://Radio‐J.com). Licensing requirements had previously prevented the program aired weekly on WELW 1330 am from being streamed on that station’s website, but program host Phi Fink had been searching for a solution that would increase the program’s reach beyond WELW’s limited coverage area throughout northeast Ohio, and offer it to the many former‐ Clevelanders now living in Israel who have requested online listening access to the program over the years.
The entire show will be streamed live each week, allowing listeners to tune‐in not just via their PCs or Macs, but also through their smartphones using the free Radio‐J app on
all iOS devices (search The App Store for “Radio‐J”) or by using the TuneIn Radio app available as a free download for Apple iOS, Android, Windows, and Blackberry mobile devices. ( http://tunein.com/get‐tunein ). “By tuning‐in to our stream on a mobile device, listeners can take our show on the go or listen in their cars just as if they were listening to our show over the radio, without worrying about driving out of the WELW listening area, and without the unfortunate interference that plagues AM radio in newer many cars.”, commented Shalom America producer Shawn Fink.
“We look forward to hearing from our listeners in new parts of northeast Ohio, Israel, and anywhere else in the world they listen‐in”, adds host Phil Fink, “we’ll have our phone‐lines open and ready for their calls every Sunday”.
