The following missionary alert was published by the Chicago Orthodox Community – Chicago Center for Torah and Chesed on Monday and based on reports in Cleveland, it is now unfortunately relevant here as well.
Over the weekend members of the community have been receiving DVDs in the mail from the Israel Restoration Ministries.
The DVD entitled, The Testimony of Tom Cantor, as well as a book entitled, Frequently Asked Questions by Jewish People has been received in a white envelope that says Yisroel in the corner.
This DVD was funded by missionaries. Do not accept it.

I received the DVD and accompanying book in my front door in University Heights last Thursday, I did not see the people responsible, nor did they ring the doorbell.

I live on Bainbridge Road in Cleveland Heights. Earlier today a young woman rang my doorbell saying she was with an organization that was reaching out to persons of the “Jewish Heritage.” I told her, “thanks, but no thanks.” Later on I went to the door and saw that she must have come back again and left the DVD and book mentioned in the previous post. She must be going around looking for homes with mezuzahs. The DVD is The Testimony of Tom Cantor, President, Founder, and CEO of Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc. The book is printed by Israel Restoration Ministries (www.Friendshipwith God.org). I’m am looking forward to having a little bonfire.
