Bookkeeping Job Description 

  • Knowledge of accounting techniques and procedures regarding accounts payable and payroll
  • Knowledge of how to type
  • Communication skills to communicate with employees and outside vendors
  • Manual skills for typing, keying and filing
  • Works independently. Work is directed by precedents or company policy. Employee utilizes a large variety of guidelines to analyze facts and determine the correct procedure to use
  • Job is performed in an office environment
  • Two to five years previous experience in bookkeeping and accounting

Help Wanted: Community Bereavement Group Facilitator

Vinney Hospice of Montefiore has been offering a community bereavement support group for many years. It has been an important resource for our hospice patients families as well as the greater Cleveland community.

We are looking to hire a new bereavement group coordinator. The coordinator is responsible for running a support group every quarter. Each group meets  six times per session at Montefiore and is about 1.5 hours long. Our groups have had great results helping the bereaved to manage their many challenges.
