This Shabbos, Shabbos HaGadol, April 16, Rabbi Yehuda Cahan will be giving a:
  1.  Shabbos HaGadol Drasha for the Women of the community at Rabbi and Rebbetzin Denciger’s home, 4380 University Parkway, University Hts, at 5 pm.
  2.   There will be a Drasha for men, at the Aleksander Shul, at 6.35pm, followed by Mincha at 7:38, followed by Shalosh Seudos.
May we all have a Kosher and Freilichen Yom Tov!

We regret to inform you of the passing of  Mr. David Beckman, the brother of Judy Hersh. Judy will be sitting shiva Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 6639 Queens Park Avenue, Mayfield Heights, from 2:00pm-4:00pm, and then again from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

May the family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

The Torah Youth Center First Fundraising Campaign – For the next 24 hours, every donation is quadrupled

1460310207TORAH YOUTH CENTER-max-400The Torah Youth Center is a local organization helping the local teens, children and young adults of the Cleveland Community. We have a fully equipped drop-in center.

We have tutoring and mentoring programs. If a young member of our community struggles with abuse or addiction,  we have an extreme intervention program which has literally saved lives.
Our job placement program has found jobs for tens of young members of our community. We have Shabbos programming and Sunday trips.
TYC is an important recourse for our community. For the next 24 hours we will be holding our first fundraising campaign. We have matching donations. If you would like to participate please contact www.charidy.com/torahyouth. Only hours remain to quadruple your donation!!

ribakowWe’re sorry to ask, but our sons really need help.

As you know, it’s been five years since we had our twins very prematurely. B”H they survived and are a true delight to all who meet them. Unfortunately, though, they are unable to sit, walk or stand by themselves and have different kinds of bulky equipment to help them.

The problem is that our house is too small to use the equipment, and all the bedrooms are on the second floor.  They’re spending way too much time on the floor, due to lack of space, and getting them upstairs has gotten difficult and dangerous for us.  The time has come to reach out for more assistance.
