The Zichron Chaim basement has a minyan Monday to Friday that is consistently facilitating for people that need to go to work early. Thus, when the clock allows it, the minyan starts at 6:00am (Rosh Chodesh 5:50am), and at the height of winter, it starts at 6:35am. Typically the minyan ends at 6:35am except Monday and Thursday when it ends 6:40-6:45am. So, for all those who thought they are not able to daven with a minyan in the mornings, this is a viable option. If you have questions they can contact beachwoodearlyminyan@gmail.com

Farmers market season is back in full, especially with some 20 market openings this week and another 13 next week. You won’t believe what’s been growing.
Find our complete listing of local farmers markets.
Yes, there are fresh things to buy, but the growth we’re talking about has as much to do with the number of farmers markets, the number of farmers, and the strength of connections that markets make to our communities.
Shop a farmers market, and it’s hard not to feel more intimate with the land. Farmers, the few small-scale, personalized ones that still exist, make lots of plans during the winter. They get down on their knees to plant in spring. And they sell to us from folding tables, hoping to make enough money so they don’t have to fold. The profit margin on food is thin.

The traffic signals that were knocked down and damaged in an accident in February near Heinen’s Grocery Store on South Green Road in University Heights have been replaced.
The signals have been in place since mid-May, but only have been fully functioning since May 31, University Heights Police Chief Steven Hammett said.
