University Heights Branch: Groundbreaking and Temporary Closure

CHUHLIbraryJoin Heights Libraries board members, staff, and University Heights leaders and community members as we launch the renovation of our University Heights branch with a groundbreaking ceremony on Sunday, August 28, at 3 p.m.Guests can also tour the new Book Mobile, which will serve University Heights during the building’s construction. Refreshments will be provided.

The University Heights branch will be undergoing a major renovation, startingSeptember 6, 2016. The branch will be closed through fall of 2017. Click here for up-to-date information about the renovation project.

The University Heights branch is located at 13866 Cedar Road in University Heights.

We regret to inform you of the passing of  Mrs. Mary Jane Senders, mother of Cary and  Eric Senders.  The funeral will be Thursday, July 28, at 12:00 noon at Berkowitz-Kumin.  Burial will be at Zion Memorial Park, Young Israel Section.

Shiva will be at the home of Cary Senders, 14393 Washington Blvd, University Heights until Wednesdaymorning.
