Children’s Museum Discounted Admission -$2 for Low-income Families
Low-income families can now visit The Children’s Museum of Cleveland year-round for a minimal fee. Visitors baring an Ohio Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card (including the Ohio Direction Card, Ohio EPPI Card, Electronic Child Care System Cards (Red), WIC Nutrition Card and WIC coupons) and a valid form of photo ID will be granted admission to the Museum for up to four (4) guests for only $2 per person. Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District wants another “current expense” levy. The 12 “expense” levies we already pay to the district – without end – have yet to do the job. I’ll cite data from the Ohio Department of Education.
There is the district’s dismal 578 out of 610 performance ranking. However, after Orange Schools, CHUH spends the highest on instructional costs. And, CHUH earns the 6th highest revenue in the state! Impressive!

Special Trash PIckups for Pesach for Beachwood Residents

Before Pesach, the Beachwood Service Department anticipates the need to provide special trash pickups in the week before Yom Tov. Please let your members know that they can contact the Service Department to request a special pickup on a day other than the normal trash removal day. The number is 216-292-1922. Additionally, trucks will do extra sweeps of the entire City over this week as well, even without a call. Have a Chag Kasher v’Sameach

University Heights – citywide trash pickup on Thursday. People are asked to have all of their trashout before noon. Thank you to the city of University Heights and Service Director Jeff Pokorny for arranging this valuable service for our community!
