It is filled with interesting and contemporary halachic decisions explained in plain English. (Cleveland Jewish News)(Ed: Slight modifications to headline due to concerns about onas devarim)

The Cleveland Cavaliers have dismissed head coach David Blatt just 1 1/2 years into a four-year contract.

The Cavaliers were humiliated Jan. 18 by the Golden State Warriors on national television, prompting speculation about his future.

The Cavaliers own the best record in the Eastern Conference at 30-11. They reached the NBA Finals in 2015, losing in six games to the Golden State Warriors, despite being without starters Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love.

May it be Your Will, Lord, our God, and The God of our forefathers, that You bless all of the etrog trees to bear their fruit at the proper time, and that they shall bear etrogim that are good, nice, beautiful, and clean from all blemish, and that no scars should form upon them, and that they shall be complete and they should not have any deficiencies, even pricked by a thorn. And these etrogim should be available for us and for all of Israel in every place that they are, in order to fulfill the mitzvah of taking [the etrog] with the lulav on the Holiday of Sukkot, that shall come to us with good life, and with peace, as You have written in Your Torah by way of Moshe (Moses), Your servant, “And on the first day you shall take for yourselves a beautiful fruit of the tree, a palm frond, and a branch of a myrtle tree, and [branches from a] willow brook …” (Vayikra 23:40).

A community member is in desperate need of a donated kidney. A father, grandfather, and recently working person who has had to retire recently due to health issues. Now must go to dialysis 3x per week and is severely limited due to weakness and fatigue. His wife has taught for many years at Hebrew Academy and Mosdos. AB negative blood type but any AB is ok. Very many in the community used to go to his father, Irving Lerman (Yitzchok) for hair cuts either in his barber shop or his basement.
