ABOUT THE EXHIBIT
From 1912 to 1914, famed ethnographer Shlyome-Zanvl Rappoport, known by his pen-name S. An-Sky, and his nephew, the photographer Solomon Iudovin, gathered materials and took photographs of Jewish daily life in pre-Revolutionary Russia’s Pale of Settlement. The photographs documented all aspects of Jewish life inside the Pale, including work, education, religious, and cultural traditions.

Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL) is the first public library to offer the bestselling language learning resource Living Language to its cardholders free of charge.

Our hearts are grieved by the tragic and horrific terrorist attack that occurred this morning at the Kehillat Yaakov shul in Yerushalyim. Pure souls lost their lives while engaged in tefilla in a beit kenesset.

To show spiritual solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Israel, and to pray on behalf of the injured, we are joining synagogues across North America and will be reciting Tehillim this evening at 9:15pm (Immediately after the 9:00pm minyan for maariv). Everyone is invited to join in this important event.
