A Store Which Receives Chometz From A Jewish Distributor
(This article is provided by the Star-K.)
How does a supermarket get the food that it sells? A distributor brings the food from the manufacturer to a warehouse, from where it is sent to individual supermarkets. If the distributer is Jewish, and he owned the chometz during Pesach, that food would be forbidden after Pesach. Even if the supermarket is owned by non-Jews, the food would still be forbidden after Pesach, as it was owned by a Jew during Pesach.
Residents in Cleveland Heights, University Heights to vote on school tax increase May 5
(Cleveland.com)(Ed: BTW you are currently paying over $400 every year per $100k for CHUH School District levies and bond issues from ’11 and ’13 and this would make it $600.Please make sure you vote!)
Voters will decide May 5 whether to approve a 5.9-mill tax increase for the Cleveland Heights-University Heights schools.
The new tax — Issue 2 on the ballot — would cost property owners an additional $210 a year for every $100,000 of home value and would generate $6.3 million a year for district operating expenses.

The long-awaited opening of the Orange branch of the Cuyahoga Public Library has been set for 2 p.m. April 12.
The $6 million facility is the sixth and penultimate new building in a massive master plan by the Cuyahoga County Library system, the fifth busiest in the country. Slated to open last fall, the library was delayed when materials for the building were unavailable, and there were problems building the foundation.

When Klal Yisrael is Out of Sync – By Rabbi Yirmiyohu Kaganoff
(RabbiKaganoff.com)
Question #1: Why don’t the Israelis let us catch up?
I received the following question via e-mail:
“Why do the communities of Eretz Yisrael wait until Behar and Bechukosai to separate the parshiyos in order that Chutz La’aretz and Eretz Yisrael read the sameparshiyos, when they could actually separate parshi’os much earlier, either by reading Tazria and Metzora on separate weeks or by separating Acharei Mos fromKedoshim?”
