The city’s Independent Finance Task Force — a group of four residents charged with reviewing the city’s budget and financial projections — will have its first meeting at 5:30 p.m. today in City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.
The group includes Danny Williams, former Cleveland law director and Cuyahoga County administrator.

Selihot according to the Sephardic tradition begin on Monday, August 17th. They will take place at Green Road Synagogue, basement level. Weekdays at 5:45 am, Sundays at 7 am, followed by Shacharit. A member of our community has a 4 year old granddaughter who was hit by a bus in Brooklyn. The child is seriously ill on a ventilator in a hospital in NYC. She is asking that the community say Tehillim for her granddaughter – Chaya bas Bracha Perel.
