TLC (To Live with Choice) is a Torah based program of recovery for women dealing with compulsive eating and food addiction. Join us to learn the secrets of recovery and gain “chizuk” by learning the 13 Steps taught by Rebbetzin Moskowitz (Rabbi Ezriel Tauber’s daughter). Meetings are held every Tuesday night 7:45pm. We will be starting at 7:45 pm instead of 8:00pm from now on. The meeting will still be for 45 minutes so 7:45pm – 8:30pm. With gratitude to Hashem for His Help thus far, and tefillos to Him for continued Guidance, the Beachwood – University Heights Community Kollel (Kollel Yad Chaim Mordechai) rejoices, as its future home has entered the first stage of its building process. Hundreds of families, numbering thousands of men, women and children have considered the Kollel their Torah home for over eighteen years.
Your recitation of Tehilim Perek 127 is most appreciated, as it will catalyze the completion of a beautiful new Torah edifice – to create more K’vod Shomayim in this community.

There is a growing interest in starting a consistent Shabbos Vasikin Minyan in University Heights. If you are interested in being involved, either partially or consistently, please email rabbiarieh@ncsy.org. The group is interested in actively reaching out to the local minyanim to ensure minimal conflict and is open to all feedback.

Sholom Schonfeld may have made history at MetroHealth Old Brooklyn Health Center in Cleveland when he erected possibly the first sukkah on MetroHealth grounds.
Schonfeld, a member of Ahavas Yisroel synagogue in Cleveland Heights, built the sukkah so that he could spend the holiday with his son, who is in rehab. His son is a student at Telshe Yeshiva in Wickliffe.
