Seventy-plus came to the free dinner in Lyndhurst celebrating Telshe Yeshiva and its 74-year contribution to the Greater Cleveland Jewish community.

NY developer buys Lyndhurst lot for glatt kosher grocery

A kosher supermarket is firmly in the cards for Lyndhurst now that a Brooklyn, N.Y., business owner paid $700,000 for a 1.6-acre lot at the southwestern corner of Mayfield and Richmond roads.
Chuck Essreg of Kowit & Co. Real Estate Group, who handled the deal, said Nov. 2 that Israel Y. Blackman, who is president of Discover Group, plans to build a “glatt kosher supermarket” on the lot.
