Bookkeeping Job Description 

  • Knowledge of accounting techniques and procedures regarding accounts payable and payroll
  • Knowledge of how to type
  • Communication skills to communicate with employees and outside vendors
  • Manual skills for typing, keying and filing
  • Works independently. Work is directed by precedents or company policy. Employee utilizes a large variety of guidelines to analyze facts and determine the correct procedure to use
  • Job is performed in an office environment
  • Two to five years previous experience in bookkeeping and accounting

Ellie’s Waffles adds bakery to candy shop

Challah, cakes, cookies and other bakery items now fill cases at Ellie’s Waffles, Smoothies, and Sweets, thanks to a renovation of about $60,000.

When Lax & Mandel Bakery in South Euclid closed its doors in May 2015, Linda Ross and her husband, Jim, decided to fill the niche by adding a bakery to their candy shop – actually using the cases from the Lax & Mandel Bakery for their store.

Did I damage your car on Purim?

Late in the day on Purim around 9:30pm  I backed into your black sedan when it was parked on University Parkway  (opposite the Denciger residence) and caused damage to the left front of the body.
