We are writing with our deepest regrets to announce the recent passing of Boruch Taub, the owner of MasterWorks Automotive and Transmission. As some of you may know, Boruch was involved in a tragic accident back in January. He was not just our boss but our mentor and good friend as well. We will all miss him more than words can express.

The entire MasterWorks team will continue with Boruch’s vision. We will continue to provide the same 5-star customer service as well as an automotive experience that exceeds your expectations.

Install Combination Smoke / Carbon Monoxide detectors. Get the ones that talk to each other. Test detectors weekly. Change batteries twice yearly Install one in each bedroom or sleeping area, in halls outside the bedrooms and one on each floor. it is a relatively inexpensive and save lives. I want to reiterate: TEST REGULARY and CHANGE BATTERIES TWICE YEARLY.

Have a licensed electrician check your electrical system including switches, receptacles, and appliance cord ends. Be cautious of using space heaters and any electric warming / cooking appliance. Have the electrical distribution [panel boxes, fuse boxes] inspected as well.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Charles Zuchowski, beloved husband of Deborah (nee Ponsky); loving father of Jason (Rachel), Aaron, Mia and the late Jeremy Zuchowski; dear brother of Dina Reich and the late Larry Zuchowski.

Family will observe Shiva at the residence of Rachel and Jason Zuchowski, 2560 Larchmont Rd. Beachwood.

Shacharis is at 8am and Mincha is at 6pm.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Philip (Phil) Fink (Nochum Pesach), husband of Gale, father of Shawn Fink (Elizabeth Leeson), and Dr. Elise (Jaime) Resnick of Silver Spring, Maryland. Grandfather of Edson (Eddie) Fink, and Emmett and Finn Resnick.

Phil was the host of Jewish radio programs on a number of local stations for more than 50 years, and lived his life to share his love of Jewish music, news, humor, and talk with the community.

Services Tuesday, February 21st at 10:00 AM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Zion Memorial Park, 5461 Northfield Rd, Bedford Heights, Ohio 44146.

The levaya for HaRav Naftali (Neil) Kreisler (Naftali Yerachmiel Ben Moshe) will take place 1pm Tuesday, February 14th at Berkowitz Kumin.

Burial will be at Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery, 3740 Ridge Road.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Arnold Jay Rosenfeld, father of Chavi Cohen (Cleveland Heights).

Mrs. Cohen will be sitting Shiva in Cleveland, beginning Tuesday evening, at 3513 Bainbridge Road.

Shiva hours are:

  • Tuesday: 8-10pm
  • Wed/Thursday: 8:30am to 11:30am; 12pm to 3:30pm; 7:30pm to 10pm
  • Friday: 8:30am to 3pm
  • Motzei Shabbos: 8-10pm
  • Sunday morning getting up.

Women are welcome at day and evening hours. Men are asked to come only during evening hours. Please keep to stated hours.

Bnos Opening Postponed

Hello everyone! We have been working very hard to get everything ready for an amazing Bnos experience. B”H the location and leaders are all in place, and of course, we have tons of Bnosers! Although the membership form indicated that we will starting this Shabbos parshas Yisro, we will be starting next Shabbos parshas Mishpatim. Cleveland Heights Bnos has been a little delayed, and will be starting next Shabbos as well. We felt that it is important for Bnos, in both neighborhoods, to begin at the same time.

Have a wonderful Shabbos, and we look forward to seeing everyone next Shabbos.

Updated: Mrs. Cohen will be traveling to Detroit on Thursday and not available for visitation here. On Friday the hours are from 10-1pm. There will not be hours for Motzei Shabbos.

The funeral was in New York. Adina will be sitting shiva at her home, 4470 University Parkway, on Tuesday, February 7.
