Chaverim of Cleveland Yom Tov Fire and Safety Guide

Chaverim wants to remind you that on all yomim tovim–but especially when there are three days of yom tov–there are many increased risks from extra cooking, leaving stoves and ovens on, increased use of fire and more.

Please download and print the following guide to help identify potential safety problems and work to avoid or mitigate them. Of primary importance, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors save lives. Please make sure yours are healthy. Never ignore a detector’s alarm.

Mr. Fishel Steinmetz will be sitting shiva in Cleveland at 3840 Shannon Road from 2pm Thursday until Shabbos.

Thursday Mincha/Maaariv is at 8:25pm. Shacharis on Friday is at 7:10am.  Mincha on Erev Shabbos is at 2pm.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Chaim Shea Steinmetz, brother of Mr. Fishel Steinmetz. Mr. Fishel Steinmetz will be sitting shiva in Brooklyn at 1235 40th St., through Wednesday evening. He will be sitting shiva in Cleveland at 3840 Shannon Road from 2pm Thursday until Shabbos.

Shacharis on Friday is at 7:10am. Mincha/Maaariv is at 8:25pm.

Matan B’Sayser Joins Am Yisroel in Mourning

MAH NOMER, MAH NEDABER? A SILENCE THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES.

What a blow to the Jewish Cleveland community and to so many worldwide institutions and individuals. What an unfathomable loss, an enormous void; most of Cleveland’s Jewish Community rested on REB MENDY KLEIN’S shoulders.

Instead of being honored amongst us mortals, at the Agudah Convention, he will receive the proper Kavod Bashomayim and tremendous S’char in Olam Hoemes.

Matan B’sayser lost a true friend whose heart was enormous, whose compassion was boundless and whose vision translated into his tremendous network of Chesed.

Matan B’sayser was close to his heart. His love, his empathy and kindness, his generosity and his Mitgefiehl for another Yid was so passionate and real.

We are deeply thankful to him for all his years of involvement. We lost one of the Gedolei Hador in Tzdokoh Vochesed.

May Hashem send a Nechomo to his special children and mostly to his dear wife Ita, who was his tower of strength and true partner in all his many Tzedokos throughout the world.

May the Neshomo Hakdosho of REB MENACHEM MOSHE BEN REB NAPHTALI HERTZKA have an Aliyoh in the Olam Haemes, v’yonuach b’gan Eden.

We have no adequate words to comfort the esteemed family of Mr. Menachem Moshe (Mendy) Klein, ע”ה, who was a pillar and supporter of our orphanage.

We extend our deepest condolences to his bereaved almana Ita, ‘תחי, and his dear children and their families: Mr. Yona Klein and his family, Mr. Nathan Klein and his family, Mrs. Edna Jaffa and her husband Mr. Amir Jaffa a true friend of our “Home” and their family, and Mrs. Dina Halpern and her family.
