We are very excited to present the Second Annual Cleveland Tu B’Av Celebration on Sunday, August 14th, 8:00 PM, at Waxman Chabad Center, 2479 Green Rd. The event is open to all Women and Girls ages 11 and older.
This inspiring, high energy evening celebrates the Spirit of Unity, Achdut, and the Joy of Jewish women. We will celebrate with live music and participate in singing and dancing. Musical Performers include Chavi Miller, Yaara Sandock, Rivka Miriam Fisher, and Laura Rabinowitz. Chavi Miller, new to Cleveland from Jerusalem, sings and plays guitar, expressing her strong Emunah in her music. She teaches Guitar and Vocal Development in Cleveland. We are very fortunate that Chavi is joining to share her gifts with Cleveland.
Rivka Miriam Fisher and Laura Rabinowitz are a string duo who perform energized nigunim on violin and viola. Yaara Sandock will share her beautiful original song as she prepares to ascend and to return to Israel.
Rozita Weiss will lead a Lively Zumba dancing session. Her spark, joy, and passion for movement will inspire all to join and dance the night away.
Following the presentation we will enjoy a delicious buffet of healthy salad bars, soup, and an exotic dessert!
Tu B’Av, the 15th of Av, is a time of moving from challenge to the rebuilding of the Jewish people then & now . The Day grants us the HOPE, TRUST and the blessings that in each hardship there is a seed of Growth and Rebuild. Come share in the Simcha, Love, and Laughter!
Encourage and bring your friends! Also, please bring your small friendly instruments such as tambourines or hand drums. Prepare your white clothes and dancing shoes! We are excited to greet you at 7:30 PM on the 14th.
