WIC Office Opening Soon in South Euclid
(Gesher Newsletter – www.geshercleveland.com)
After many months of hard work, we’re thrilled to soon be opening a local WIC office in South Euclid at 14055 Cedar Avenue, Suite 200, South Euclid.
(across from Target).
The new office will be a full service WIC clinic, staffed by WIC employees and will handle any WIC related issue.
“Instead of schlepping to the downtown office every six months with all your kids and every three months to refill your card, you’ll now be able to pop right in to an office within the community.” said Rabbi Aryeh Leib Joseph, Resource Coordinator at Gesher. “We’ve eliminated the need to go to the downtown office completely. With an office that’s right in our backyard, we hope more people than ever will access WIC benefits.”

Bikur Cholim, Kosher Food Pantry work overtime for Passover
(Cleveland Jewish News)
It’s hard enough to cook for one family for Passover – let alone all who are in need.
Yet, that’s exactly what a couple of Cleveland-area organizations aspire to do.
For groups like Bikur Cholim of Cleveland and the Kosher Food Pantry, they are busy all year and somehow even busier at Passover.
Encourage the Indians to Bring the Kosher Stand Back
(Community member)
Due to a mistake in operations, the kosher stand at Progressive Field was open on the Shabbos of April 16. This caused the kashrus of the equipment to be compromised and necessitated removal of the kosher certification.
The community can voice their encouragement to the Indians to reinstate kosher certification at the stand by contacting the Indians using this link >>

Questions surround kosher hot dog stand at Progressive Field
(Cleveland Jewish News)
The kosher hot dog stand at Progressive Field, a once-groundbreaking effort to serve the dietary needs of shomer kashrut baseball fans, temporarily closed last weekend – or at least is temporarily not under rabbinic supervision.
Rabbi Shimon Gutman of Cleveland Kosher said that there was a “glitch or mistake” in which the space was used during Shabbat. The stand is only supposed to be open for Sunday through Thursday games. He couldn’t say what it was used for, because he wasn’t there due to Shabbat.
