Hebrew Academy of Cleveland would transfer all of its pre-K through 12 boy students to a proposed new school campus on Warrensville Center Road.
The campus would occupy the site of the former Oakwood Club, which closed in 2010 after merging with Mayfield Sand Ridge Club in South Euclid and Chardon.

Chazal tell us that Yaakov’s davening was the introduction of tefilas Maariv, which sometimes includes Uva Letziyon. I therefore introduce:
Question #1: Why does the kedusha that we recite in Uva Letziyon include an Aramaic translation?
Question #2: Why does the Uva Letziyon kedusha quote a different pasuk, Hashem yimloch le’olam va’ed, instead of the third pasuk that we usually say forkedusha, Yimloch Hashem le’olam Elokayich tziyon ledor vador halelukah?

Menorah Park hires Rabbi Cohen as spiritual living director

Rabbi Avraham Cohen, a chaplain in the U.S. Air Force since 2000, has been named director of spiritual living at Menorah Park Center for Senior Living in Beachwood.
Cohen, 51, began his duties Nov. 2. He replaces Rabbi Ephraim (Frederick) Karp, who served at Menorah Park from 2008 until January.
