South Euclid-Lyndhurst Library branch opening Sunday draws hundreds
(Cleveland.com)(The second biggest news item is that County Library fines are being waived through October 25th if you take advantage of a special amnesty program.)
Traffic on South Green Road was at a near standstill and the parking lots at Notre Dame College and the new South Euclid-Lyndhurst branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library were almost full as 2 p.m. Sunday approached.
At 2 p.m., the library branch, after almost three years of discussion, controversy and anticipation, opened its doors for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and three-hour open house. The event was attended by hundreds of regular library users and those lured by the curiosity of wanting to see the interior of the 30,000-square-foot building, 1876 S. Green Road.

Shabbos Project Cleveland 2015 – Donation Opportunity
The Shabbos Project CLE has reached remarkable proportions, beyond our expectations. We have needed to expand our Challah Bake from 700 to 1060 participants. But this comes with significant additional costs, besides our other current expenses. We need more funding…and your help. The Cleveland Jewish community has never before seen such an incredible display of unity. Our day schools have joined together. Jews from all denominations are uniting around this international endeavor. Join us, and over 1 million Jews around the world, in making this happen, right here in Cleveland. Please show your support. #keepingittogether
