“I hadn’t studied Torah in forever, and I wasn’t proficient in it,” Bonnie Chizek said at the April 28 meeting of Partners In Torah of Cleveland.
“I came and I fell in love with these people. This group of people is just remarkable. I’ve never met a community of human beings that sticks together and that loves and cares about each other like this group. It’s an amazing support group – to learn, to love, to give.”
Chizek is one of about 100 participants in the program, which meets Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland Mandel Building in Beachwood.
