Green Road Synagogue (along with the Greater Cleveland community) joins the rest of world Jewry in mourning the passing of HaRav Aharon Lichtenstein zt’l one of the great Torah giants of our generation. Rav Lichtenstein was a Rosh Yeshiva at Yeshiva University and then, after his aliyah, he partnered with Rav Yehuda Amital zt’l  to lead Yeshivat Har Etzion for decades. He was the living personification of the ideals of Religious Zionism and the embodiment of Torah U.Mada.

Preston’s H.O.P.E. accessible playground open again for play in Beachwood; fundraiser to be held May 3

There is good news for all area families with young children — Preston’s H.O.P.E. playground is again open for play.

Preston’s H.O.P.E. playground is hosting a ‘Family Fun Day’ fundraiser May 3 to help pay for recent renovations at the facility.

The accessible playground for children of all abilities and disabilities, located on the grounds of the Mandel Jewish Community Center, 26001 S. Woodland Road, was re-opened April 15 after having been closed since September for upgrades.

TLC – Recovery Program for Compulsive Eating

TLC (To Live with Choice) is a Torah based program of recovery for women dealing with compulsive eating and food addiction.  Join us to learn the secrets of recovery and gain “chizuk” by learning the 13 Steps taught by Rebbetzin Moskowitz (Rabbi Ezriel Tauber’s daughter).
