‘Remembering Project’ keeps Holocaust memories alive

Four Holocaust survivors will share their personal experiences of the Holocaust during a screening of the documentary “The Remembering Project” at 7 p.m. Jan. 13 at Montefiore in Beachwood.
Natalie Bauman, CEO and founder of The Digital Mosaic, a digital storytelling app, produced the 30-minute documentary. The film was funded by a grant from the Saltzman Youth Panel of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.

Severance Town Center could be sold at foreclosure auction

Severance Town Center appears to be headed for the auction block, after a speedy foreclosure case concluded last week.
Cuyahoga County Judge John P. O’Donnell signed off Dec. 31 on a foreclosure decree related to the notable retail property. Now a lender has asked that the shopping center, at Mayfield and Taylor roads in Cleveland Heights, be sold at a foreclosure auction in an attempt to recoup more than $38 million in debt.
