Help Wanted: Jewish Federation of Cleveland – Solutions-Report Developer and PEI Fellow

Solutions/Report Developer – The Solutions/Report Developer will report to the Director of Business Applications and work within the Information Technology team in the role of a developer. The primary responsibilities for the job include custom application development, including CRM platform as well as other enterprise-wide applications. You should be prepared to work on many different types of projects, including custom software development, reporting, business intelligence, business requirements, and data interchange. In this role you will be required to work with a diversity of internal clients – you should have good communication skills and fulfill the roles of Support and Quality Assurance when required. PEI Fellow – The Public Education Initiative (PEI) Fellow is responsible for assisting the PEI Site Coordinator in the oversight of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Public Education Initiative. The Public Education Initiative is a one-on-one literacy enrichment program through which volunteer tutors meet with students at eight sites within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (for more information click here). The PEI Fellow will assist in managing the needs of the eight sites; help with recruitment and retention of volunteers; serve as a resource for educational techniques and tools, and tutor students. The Fellow may have some involvement with other Federation departments as related to their work with public education and literacy-based activities in the city of Cleveland. This position is a part time (20 hours per week), academic year assignment; flexible hours and reliable transportation are required. The PEI fellow will report to the Director of the Public Education Initiative and the PEI Site Coordinator.
