The funeral will be tomorrow, Thursday, July 15, at 7:30 AM in the parking lot of Berkowitz Kumin. Burial will take place in Eretz Yisroel. Shiva will be observed from Sunday night at 14386 Washington Blvd. )
TLC (To Live with Choice) is a Torah based program of recovery for women dealing with compulsive eating and food addiction. Join us to learn the secrets of recovery and gain “chizuk” by learning the 13 Steps taught by Rebbetzin Moskowitz (Rabbi Ezriel Tauber’s daughter). Meetings are held every Tuesday night 8pm. We will be starting at 8:00pm instead of 7:30 pm from now on. The meeting will still be for 45 minutes so 8:00pm – 8:45pm. Rabbi Naphtali Burnstein will give a shiur at the Young Israel of Greater Cleveland (Stone Synagogue) this Shabbos, July 18 at 5:30 pm on the topic: “The New Kosher Switch: Is It Really Kosher”. The shiur is for men and women and is open to the community.
Rabbi Cahan will be speaking this Shabbos July 18th, in the Yavne building at 5:15 this Shabbos on the topic of Ahavas Yisroel- loving your fellow Jew. All women in the community are welcome to join.

A driving school and a summer camp at Heights Jewish Center Synagogue were approved by University Heights City Council July 13.
A creamery, which will produce non-dairy ice cream in a kosher kitchen at the synagogue at 14270 Cedar Road in University Heights, was also approved.

It’s Dan from Heights Jewish Center. This year I am providing cleanup of flooded or damaged basements – all the dirty stuff no one wants to do. Also as always yard stuff – weeding, mulching,raking leaves… no lawn mowing this year.
