A few seconds into a recently discovered, rare film clip of the first Knessiah Gedolah in 1923 in Vienna, a rabbi with a long, white beard appears.
“That’s my great-grandfather, with the beard,” exclaims an excited Eva Schwartz, a 97-year-old resident of Wiggins Place, as she watches a video of the four minute, 51-second film on a large screen in a multipurpose room of the assisted living community on the campus of Menorah Park Center for Senior Living in Beachwood.
