(Message from Rabbi Yossi Marozov, Friendship Circle)
Like many of you, I have a personal connection to the terrible hardships caused by the storm. For 20 years my sister and brother-in-law have led a congregation serving Sea Gate, NY, and neighboring Coney Island. Many in that community are Russian immigrants who have depended extensively on them. Now they are looking to my sister and brother-in-law even more because so many are displaced and desperate. My family is doing all it can to provide food and warmth and help people cope with their devastating losses––while they contend with 10 feet of water in the basement of their own home!
Please help relieve suffering in the aftermath of the storm––and you prefer to target a specific community––here is how you can provide help and hope to a devastated community Click Here to donate: ChabadByTheOcean.com
Thank you very much for your generous spirit during these trying times.
