While i agree everyone needs to be careful while driving, the police on bendemeer are there for reasons other then monitoring traffic.

It might be good to slow down, but I do not think that the police hanging out on Bendemeer are giving tickets.
There was some police activity over there this past Motzei Shabbos. I do not know what it was all about, but apparently this 24 hour police surveillance has something to do with that.

We apologize for the implication in this posting that the police presence was possibly due to ticketing motorists for speeding. It is factually incorrect and does not show ample appreciation to our Cleveland Heights police who who do so much to maintain public safety.
